Golf Course 1. All golfers shall register and, if the golfer has not paid the annual golf fees, pay the daily greens fees at the pro shop before teeing off. 2. Practice golf etiquette and courtesy on the golf course at all times. 3. A member may bring up to seven (7) guest golfers with them at anytime. However, groups are limited to sixsomes or less at all times. Thus meaning the Member who has a total of seven (7) guest would have to break into two separate groups. 4. Each golfer is required to have a set of clubs. 5. Begin play on Hole #1 only, except play may begin on other holes, if other groups are two or more strokes both in front of and behind of the tee where play begins. Do not cut in front of a group to crowd into play. 6. Play at a regular speed, do not hold up groups behind, or push groups ahead. Allow five minutes to hunt a lost ball, or let the group behind play through. Twosomes do not have the right of way. 7. Walking or hiking on the golf course by non-golfers is prohibited. Non-golfers must remain on Golf Cart. 8. Drive golf carts on cart paths only, please help keep our fairway grass green and in good shape. 9. Repair your ball marks on the green. Replace your divots. 10. Persons who are eligible to use a "medical flag" must submit proof from a certified doctor yearly and will be required to re-apply each year. Forms will be supplied by R.S.R.C. Persons will not be permitted closer than 75 yards of greens in fairways and shall observe the "ninety degree rule", that is drive on the golf cart path until you are even with your ball. Then, turn 90 degrees onto the fairway to your ball. After hitting your ball, return to the golf cart path on either side of the fairway, at 90 degrees to the fairway. After you hit your ball, do not drive down the fairway directly to your ball. 11. The golf course is closed to persons who are not members of the Roaring Springs Ranch Club, except: (1) Guests of a Member, when accompanied by a Member, (2) Coast-to-Coast visitors, (3) Non-members invited to play in a tournament and (4) Guest from a golf club, which reciprocates; (5) A guest may golf without a Member if the Member is on Property; and further, the daily greens fees for guests of Members shall be as set by the Board of Directors from time to time, except after a non-member has played golf as the guest of a Member, or Members, a total of eight (8) times in a calendar year, including playing in weekly scrambles, but excluding playing in an open tournament when invited to play, the daily greens fees shall be double the daily greens fees as set by the Board of Directors from time to time. All tournaments will be approved by the Board of Directors and the assessment of green fees will be subject to approval of the Board of Directors. Further, all golf associations, which have annual tournaments will be approved by the Board of Directors and the assessment of any fees will be approved. 12. Children, 5 years and older are permitted to play golf. 13. Dogs are allowed on the golf course. They must be on a leash and stay on the golf cart at all times. 14. Associate Members and children of guests, 5 years of age through 11 years of age, may play golf free of charge, when accompanied by a parent. 15. Associate Members and children of guests, 12 years of age through 17 years of age, may play golf for one half (1/2) the greens fees as established by the Board of Directors from time to time. Associate Members age 13 and under must be accompanied by one parent or other responsible Member. 16. Golf fees are as follows:
* Annual fee and daily greens fees may be revised by the Board of Directors at their discretion. ** After a Guest of a Member has played golf eight times in one year, the daily greens fees shall be double the daily greens fees for the Guest as established by the Board of Directors from time to time. 17. A Member is responsible to assure his/her guest(s) sign the daily golf register to play golf and is responsible for the payment of the greens fees for the guest(s). 18. A Guest may golf without a Member if the Member is on Property. A Member is allowed two foursomes including the Member. 19. All tournaments or scrambles shall be scheduled in advance and approved by the Board of Directors. A tournament or scramble shall not be scheduled on a holiday or holiday weekend. 20. No changes, maintenance or other work may be done to or on the Golf Course except that specifically authorized and /or directed by the Board of Directors and that any Member who may be found to be in violation of this rule is subject to suspension from the Club. 21. A Member may pro-rate his/her (or family) golf pass the first time a golf pass is purchased. However, the Member may not let the golf pass lapse and pro-rate a second time. After the initial golf pass is purchased, the amount must be paid in full, year to year after the first year. |
