The sun shines bright, it feels so good I’m glad we’re here, it’s our own hood. The kids can run they talk and play This is the place they love to stay. The creek it runs, the kids they wade We like it here up in the shade.
The pool is cool, we love to splash Its quite the place to have a bash. The melon cools, its in the stream We slice it up the kids they beam. They run around and drive the carts This is the place that’s in their hearts.
A nice hot fire a cup of brew A big ole pot of hot beef stew The biscuits brown their almost done The kids they come, there won’t be none. The cobbler cooks, it smells so fine We just can’t wait till time to dine.
It’s getting dark, the kids come home They’ve had great fun where they can roam We call to them, their spirit soars “The coals are right to make s’mores” They love it here and so do we To come back soon that's our decree
